What are the responsibilities and job description for the Padua Case Manager - Western Headquarters - FT position at GOODWILL INDUSTRIES GROUP?
Job Objective:
To provide support to clients in their journey out of poverty through Padua’s client driven and research backed approach, delivering transformational interactions that empower individuals to create a bigger brighter future while achieving overall well-being and financial self-sufficiency through strengths based holistic case management and clinically informed interventions. This position reports to the Padua Program Manager who evaluates performance annually.

Essential Job Functions:
- Support client efforts toward self-sufficiency by identifying opportunities for growth and removing barriers to success.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments using a narrative-based approach to develop individualized strengths-based service plans.
- Monitor and guide client progress using clinically informed interventions to maintain engagement and advancement toward goals.
- Engage clients in the service planning process to ensure understanding of goals target dates and required actions.
- Assist clients with identifying multiple paths toward success by supporting informed decision making and problem solving.
- Collaborate closely with a case worker partner to provide timely case management documentation and ongoing communication with clients.
- Maintain an active and engaged caseload with the case worker partner that meets client goals and agency benchmarks.
- Work collaboratively with other internal teams to support agency wide goals and client success.
- Maintain current knowledge of social work theory emerging trends and best practices to ensure high quality service delivery.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Education and Skills:
- Master’s degree in clinical social work or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust, engage clients effectively, and collaborate with internal teams and community partners.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret written instructions, correspondence, policies, and service plans.
- Ability to clearly and professionally document case notes, assessments, and client progress in a timely manner.
- Ability to present information effectively in one on one and small group settings with clients, coworkers, and partners.
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking, problem solving, and sound judgment in situations with multiple variables and limited standardization.
- Working knowledge of basic mathematical concepts including calculating rates, ratios, percentages, and interpreting simple data or charts for case management and reporting purposes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage an active caseload and meet agency benchmarks and deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to change, maintain professionalism, and apply trauma informed and strengths-based practices in a client driven environment.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites.

- Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
