Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented E‑Commerce Shipping Associate to support daily shipping and order fulfillment operations. This role is responsible for accurately picking, packing, labeling, and dispatching online orders while meeting established standards for accuracy, efficiency, cost control, and on‑time delivery.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfillment & Shipping Operations
- Execute daily fulfillment tasks including picking, packing, labeling, and preparing eCommerce orders for shipment
- Accurately process shipments using designated shipping software, ensuring proper labels, documentation, and carrier selection
- Meet or exceed individual daily production and accuracy goals
- Follow standardized fulfillment and shipping procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
- Select approved packaging and carrier options to support cost‑effective shipping practices
Inventory & Workspace Organization
- Monitor inventory levels of shipping materials and notify appropriate personnel when supplies are low
- Maintain organized shipping and fulfillment areas, ensuring merchandise is accessible and properly staged
- Stock, straighten, and organize work areas to support efficient workflow
Customer & Team Support
- Respond to basic customer inquiries related to shipping or order status using established communication protocols, escalating issues as appropriate
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order processing
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily operational needs
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace in accordance with housekeeping and safety standards
- Adhere to all Loss Prevention and Security policies to protect inventory, equipment, and company assets
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year of experience in shipping, fulfillment, warehouse operations, or inventory control preferred
Scope of Supervision
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Strong computer and internet skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet daily production targets
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate clearly in person or by phone
- Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
Physical Requirements
Medium Physical Demand
- Lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
- Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle packages and materials
