E‑Commerce Processor - Clothing, Shoes, & Accessories
Full‑Time | $17.50/hour
Our eCommerce operation is structured across specialized departments to ensure operational excellence and category expertise. We are currently seeking detail-oriented and knowledgeable team members to support our Textiles, Shoes, and Accessories division. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in fashion, textiles, and product identification, combined with the ability to conduct thorough research and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the end-to-end preparation of merchandise for our online marketplace, ensuring items are accurately identified, evaluated, and presented to maximize visibility and value on ShopGoodwill.com.
Position Overview
The E‑Commerce Processor is responsible for identifying, researching, and preparing donated items for online sale. This includes accurately categorizing items, researching product details, and creating brief but accurate listings that meet quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, evaluate, and categorize unique donated items, accurately identifying brands, designers, materials, and maker’s marks through research and collaboration
- Research, authenticate, and assess merchandise to ensure accurate representation and product integrity
- Create clear, concise, and accurate product descriptions that reflect item condition, attributes, and value for online listings
- Photograph items according to established presentation and quality standards to support online visibility and sales performance
- Meet or exceed daily production and quality benchmarks in a high‑volume environment
- Follow all safety, operational, and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
- Support and promote Goodwill’s mission, values, and community impact through daily work
- Collaborate with teammates and leadership on process improvements and complete additional duties as assigned to meet business needs
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience with online sales, resale platforms, or strong product knowledge preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Computer proficiency and online research skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and meet production expectations
- Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Physical Requirements
Medium physical demand
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and frequently lift or carry items up to 25 lbs.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling items
