Hiring an Experienced Gardener, Fine Gardener, Master Gardener to work with crew and independently.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seasonal mid April to beginning of November. This not full time work. Average work day is 6hrs, 3-4 days a week.

I am a sole proprietor in Central Mass. I provide full-service gardening options. We manage properties. Work can include designing, installing, maintenance of landscape beds (weeding/deadheading), manage a team, container plantings, installation of smaller ornamental trees, bulb plantings, fertilizations, mulch, bed edging, pruning, hedge shearing, shopping and Spring/Fall Clean Ups. No grass cutting.
Best person for this position will not need benefits and has Fine Gardening Experience. Others Need Not Apply. Hours fluctuate depending on the month. After training: Do you want 3 or 4 days a week? 25-35 hr/wk for most of the months. Busiest Months: May-Sept. Will train with me then you will work independently. Clients on a waitlist. Take on as much business as you want. Tools/Equipment will be provided. Clients will be provided. There is room for more hours if desired.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid driver’s license and uses own vehicle.
- Must have a truck or SUV or hatchback (Working solo, you must be able to transport your equipment)
- Fine Gardening or Master Gardening Experience and or 3 years of relatable experience.
- Must have neat appearance, be dressed appropriate for outside work. Have hat, gloves and proper work shoes. I will provide (2) work shirts. Orange is the company color and any orange shirt is acceptable (minimal and tasteful imaging on shirts)
- Positive attitude, outgoing, strong work ethic and ability to get along with others. Customer friendly and sociable. Be courteous and respectful. Have a 'CAN-DO' attitude.
- Report to Owner (North Grafton) or Customer location. Client radius is 30 minutes from Grafton.
- Must be able to perform but not limited to digging, heavy lifting, lift 50lbs, shoveling, mulching, edging, using gas equipment. Know proper Pruning Techniques.
- Attention to detail is an absolute must.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Most be reliable. Showing up considerably Late, and No Show for work is not tolerated. A No Show will result in immediate termination. I am very flexible and can work around most needs. Always text or call if running late. Life happens, I understand this.
COMPENSATION
- $20-$30 / hour depending on Experience. Wage increases when Managing and working projects.
- Paid travel time between client stops. Paid lunches.
