We are seeking an IT & Maintenance Technician to support our residential and office environments. Duties Include:
- Maintenance & Facilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across residential homes and office locations
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and structural components
- Complete painting, carpentry, drywall, and general upkeep tasks
- Maintain safe, clean, and compliant environments aligned with HUD, state, and local regulations
- Conduct inspections and maintain required documentation
- IT & Technical Support
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide timely resolution for IT and maintenance issues
- Install, configure, and maintain technology systems and network infrastructure
- Run and manage cabling in residential and office environments
- Support agency-wide applications, devices, and systems
- Troubleshoot network vs. equipment issues and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Operations & Coordination
- Communicate timelines, costs, and repair updates with staff and leadership
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment
- Assist with property transitions, furniture moves, and space setup
- Support safety training and educate staff on proper equipment use
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, IT support, or similar role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of computer systems, networks, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail)
- Experience with general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with network systems and enterprise technology environments
- Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, building codes, HUD guidelines)
- Experience working in residential or human services environments
- Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs occasionally
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching
- Comfortable working in varied environments (indoors, outdoors, attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
