Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct daily practice sessions, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
- Organize and manage the JV softball team during games and competitions, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs that enhance players' physical conditioning and technical skills.
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and personal growth.
- Communicate regularly with players, parents, and school administration regarding team activities, schedules, and expectations.
- Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Collaborate with the head coach and other coaching staff to align team goals and objectives.
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of student-athletes for the softball program.

Requirements
- Must pass a background check.
- Previous coaching experience, preferably in softball or a related sport at the high school or youth level.
- Strong knowledge of softball techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to achieve their best.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during the season.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- High school diploma or equivalent; college-level playing experience or coaching certification preferred.
