Role Overview
We are seeking dynamic Emcees/Event Hosts to lead corporate volunteering experiences end-to-end—from setup and facilitation to wrap-up. As the face of Goodera on the ground, you will ensure volunteers have a seamless, engaging, and meaningful experience while supporting nonprofit partners effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage event setup and logistics, including materials, inventory, and volunteer instructions
- Facilitate the full event flow: introductions, agenda, engagement activities, and closing
- Deliver a high-energy, engaging experience for participants
- Capture event highlights (photos, feedback, attendance) for post-event reporting
- Coordinate with nonprofit partners to align on goals and execution
- Troubleshoot and adapt in real time to ensure smooth delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Strong public speaking or facilitation experience (events, workshops, training, etc.)
- Confident presence with the ability to engage groups of 30–100 participants
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage logistics and handle unexpected challenges calmly
- High energy, adaptability, and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Background in hosting, performance, teaching, or similar audience-facing roles
- Experience with improvisation or dynamic facilitation
Requirements
- Ability to stand for 2–4 hours and lift up to 30 lbs
- Reliable transportation to event locations
- Willingness to support event setup and breakdown
