Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, possess excellent customer service skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings, is highly valued. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction from start to finish.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food handling and service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles preferred, including fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
- Hospitality background with guest relations skills preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
