Good Soul Hunting is partnering with a growing boutique fitness and wellness brand to find an exceptional Studio Manager to lead its Portsmouth, NH location.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves the energy and community of a boutique studio environment and wants to combine leadership, commercial growth and teaching in their next role.
As Studio Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day performance and experience of the studio. You'll lead and develop a passionate team, help drive membership growth and retention, build relationships within the local community and ensure every member receives an exceptional experience.
You'll also remain connected to what happens on the studio floor, teaching classes each week and becoming a visible and influential part of the studio community.
What you'll do:
- Lead the day-to-day operations and performance of the studio
- Create an exceptional and welcoming experience for every member
- Lead, support and develop the studio team and instructors
- Help drive membership sales, retention and overall studio growth
- Build meaningful relationships with prospective members and local businesses
- Support community events, workshops and studio initiatives
- Monitor key studio performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth
- Support studio scheduling, budgeting and operational goals
- Maintain a highly visible presence within the studio
- Teach classes each week across relevant movement disciplines
Who we're looking for:
You could already be a Studio Manager, Assistant Manager or Lead Instructor, or you may be an experienced fitness professional ready to take the next step into a broader leadership role.
We're particularly interested in people who bring:
- Experience within boutique fitness, wellness or another highly customer-focused environment
- A passion for Pilates, yoga, barre and movement
- Teaching or coaching experience, ideally with a relevant certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A commercial mindset and enthusiasm for membership growth and retention
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop others
- A natural ability to build relationships and create community
- A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership
- A genuine passion for delivering an outstanding client experience
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, but we're equally interested in emerging leaders who have the potential and ambition to step into their first Studio Manager position.
