As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. ```Responsibilities```
Makes daily rounds of assigned preventative maintenance work areas to pick up and complete maintenance requisitions.
Performs electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, or any other type of maintenance work needed under the direction of the maintenance supervisor.
Signs and files maintenance requisitions when repair is made.
Should be alert to observe situations that need repair.
Must be aware of the need to perform work efficiently with the least amount of disturbance to residents.
Must perform tasks to make needed repair with minimum cost to Good Shepherd Nursing Home LC.
Must be available to report for duty in the event an emergency repair must be made during an evenings or weekends.
Snow removal as needed.
On call when scheduled.
Will perform all maintenance work and repairs on automobiles as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor
Keeps a file on preventative maintenance of their assigned work areas.
