Clinical Support Specialist
Named by the Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a Clinical Support Specialist to join its team. Our not-for-profit hospice and palliative care organization has an opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, compassionate and resourceful individual who wants to do meaningful work. Candidate must have strong communication and time management skills and be eager and willing to handle the diverse responsibilities of the job with a helpful, professional attitude and a friendly demeanor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting the clinical team with administrative tasks
- Working as a team player within the administrative and clinical teams
- Triaging phone calls in a fast-paced office
- Detail-oriented tracking to remain in compliance with regulations
Schedule and Weekly Hours:
We offer different schedules:
- Monday-Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm (start time may vary depending on department needs - 8:30 am or 9:30 am). This shift includes weekend rotations.
- Tuesday - Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm (start time may vary depending on department needs - 8:30 am or 9:30 am)
- Sunday - Thursday, from 9 am to 5 pm (start time may vary depending on department needs - 8:30 am or 9:30 am)
Education, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of healthcare experience
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and multitask
- Manage time and prioritize efficiently
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- PC proficiency in Google Suite, Word, and Excel
- A professional and caring demeanor in person and on the telephone

Pay Range:
$46,000-$52,000: This number reflects an average starting range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors including experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the starting range.
