Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Worker/Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards.
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort at all times.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum and educational activities that foster growth in early childhood development areas.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques.
- Experience with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed.
- Previous nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating responsibility and nurturing skills is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children, parents, and team members are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $10.00 - $24.74 per hour
