Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and their components.
Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functionality of garage door systems.
Troubleshoot issues related to door operation and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow safety protocols to ensure personal safety as well as that of clients.
Skills
Proficient in maintenance person tasks with experience in frame carpentry and trim carpentry.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings for accurate installations.
Experience with metal stud framing is a plus.
Capable of heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
Skilled in fabricating and building components necessary for garage door systems.
Expertise in door hanging techniques to ensure proper alignment and function.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
