Good Crop Inc is a juice manufacturer based in Ephrata PA, using only fresh and natural produce in the manufacturing process.
Good Crop is currently looking for the right associates to join the team. First and Second Shifts available.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensuring the finish product adheres to standard of safety and quality.
- Maintains effective working relationships with team members through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement and productivity.
- Based on the production schedule ensures that all required items are available for and ahead of the production runs. Performs first pass quality checks after changeovers to prevent non-conforming product.
- Collaborates with the Maintenance Department to resolve downtime occurrences on the production line. Performs simple hourly maintenance on the machine to ensure it is completely functional and safe to operate.
- Ensures that the line and work place is cleared and cleaned after the production run and / or at the end of the shift. Manage housekeeping activities as requested.
- Completes shift reports for production numbers, downtime and quality checks.
Required / Preferred experience:
- Proven experience as a machine operator or maintenance technician
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery, preferable operating and maintaining a Federal bottle filler, Pace bottleing, Labeling machine.
- Continuous improvement: 5S, kaizen
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Leadership experience
