What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Good Company Cafe?
Overview:
Good Company Cafe is looking for an energetic individual to join our family as Dishwasher. This position is vital in every kitchen so the restaurant can run efficiently and cleanly. Dishwashers are expected to carry out standard tasks like maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation and assisting Teammates in other duties as needed. An ideal candidate will be quick on the feet, diligent with tasks on hand, have a great sense of urgency, and always looking for areas of improvement. We like to keep things fun and interesting around the Cafe but we do need a Teammate that is willing and ready to work in a fast-paced environment and get the job done.
Responsibilities:
- maintain clean and sanitary work station
- assist FOH with clearing dining room and bussing stations of dishes and trash
- assist BOH with keeping prep stations clean of soiled equipment
- keep kitchen and equipment properly organized
- polish and put away dishes for dining
- help with standard kitchen duties such as trash, daily and deep clean, receive and put away orders, general organization
