What You’ll Do
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including documentation and record setup.
- Support offboarding processes and maintain accurate employee records.
- Process routine payrolls using HIRS software.
- Serve as a go-to resource for general HR questions.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts (interview scheduling, candidate tracking).
- Support performance review cycles and HR reporting.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
- Provide internal customer services by responding to employee inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to resolve routine HR issues, escalating appropriately as necessary.
- Prepare payroll reports.
- Process expense reports and reimburse through payroll.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting or Business Administration. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, particularly for candidates with demonstrated success in HR administration and payroll administration.
- SHRM HR Certification a plus.
- Working experience in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, or accounting systems (ADP/Paychex).
- 2-4 years of experience in HR administration, accounting support or blended administrative role.
- Comfortable working part-time (20 hours/week) with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Familiarity with HR functions such as onboarding and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of discretion, professionalism and dependability.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- Part-time, non-exempt.
