Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the lawn care crew, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery
- Lead landscaping projects including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and general garden maintenance
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as irrigation system checks, tree care, pruning, and fertilization
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members on proper techniques for lawn care, gardening, and equipment use
- Conduct site inspections to assess project progress and address any issues promptly
- Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture with a focus on lawn care and landscaping projects
- Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor maintenance or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of landscape techniques including irrigation systems, tree care, and general garden upkeep
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate team members and coordinate tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods
