What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Specialist - Extensive Support Needs (ESN) position at Gompers Preparatory Academy?
Looking for a dynamic, Education Specialist to be a part of a collaborative team that works tirelessly in the remediation and acceleration of of students in middle and high school. Must have the ability to teach both general education and special education students through the co-teach model, plan and collaborate closely general education counterparts, teach basic reading in a Learning Center, as well as write and implement legally defendable behavior plans and IEP's. Strong classroom management and the ability to differentiate instruction is a must.
