Duties
- Install new signs including electrical wiring, mounting hardware, and structural supports according to schematics and technical drawings
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot issues with illuminated signs or electrical components
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on existing signage systems to ensure optimal performance
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately assemble and install signage components
- Operate heavy equipment such as lifts or cranes safely when installing signs at elevated or hard-to-reach locations
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installation meets specifications, safety standards, and deadlines
Qualifications
- Proven experience with electrical diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and heavy equipment mechanics
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and using tools like ohmmeters
- Ability to work at heights using lifts or scaffolding safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Physical stamina to lift heavy signs and work in various weather conditions
- Technical proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
