Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sign Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming design concepts and technical drawings into high-quality, durable signage through precise fabrication processes. Your expertise in metal fabrication, welding, and blueprint interpretation will be essential to deliver visually impactful signs that meet safety standards and client specifications. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to determine fabrication requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other metal materials using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment.
- Fabricate signage components for various applications including ductwork, structural supports, and decorative elements in compliance with ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards.
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished signs, ensuring quality control throughout the process while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
- Extensive construction site experience with aluminum fabrication environments.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings related to sign fabrication.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, plasma cutters, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and calculations required during fabrication.
- Understanding of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation and welding procedures.
