The Planning & Operations (“P&O”) Group drives planning, analytics, data management and technology projects while providing operational support for the Investor Partners Group (“IPG”), which has primary responsibility for all of Golub Capital’s business development and client relationship management activities. The team possesses both a deep understanding of IPG’s needs as well as a strong set of unique technical expertise. The group helps inform strategy across investor segments in conjunction with sales teams and develops key performance indicators to assess performance against goals. As a sub-group of Planning & Operations, Client Finance seeks to provide actionable metrics, dashboards and reports that drive sales enablement, sales management and client service. Client Finance collaborates closely with teams across IPG to provide support for the day-to-day fundraising activities as well as strategic initiatives headed by IPG’s Chief Operating Officer.
Position Responsibilities
This candidate will be responsible for developing critical analyses and reporting for IPG’s client-facing and operational teams. This role requires strong business intelligence development skills, attention to detail, project and requirements documentation skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

For New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $125,000 to $150,000 for a Senior Associate and $105,000 to $120,000 for an Associate. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To
- Owning the preparation, validation and timely distribution of critical recurring reports that support key business functions; this includes maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency, with the expectation of ongoing delivery as a core responsibility of the role
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of IPG’s business processes and data to help innovate new reporting solutions
- Documenting project requirements to ensure reporting is clear, up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
- Conducting in-depth analysis of sales data to identify trends, patterns and insights that drive business decisions within institutional and private wealth business development; supporting initiatives and channel-specific business plans
- Creating comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards that effectively communicate sales performance and metrics to key internal stakeholders
- Working closely with sales and product teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights that support strategic initiatives
- Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of sales data by implementing robust data quality checks
- Utilizing Python to develop predictive models and identify potential opportunities for growth
- Creating and refining key performance indicators (“KPIs”) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives, providing regular updates and recommendations for improvement to senior leadership
- Assisting with other projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 2 years of relevant experience for an Associate and at least 4 years of relevant experience for a Senior Associate
- Experience in an analytics or dashboard developer role within the financial services industry
- Excellent technical skills, particularly around advanced data querying within data systems; familiarity with CRM systems and data warehouses
- Demonstrated experience with business intelligence and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) to deliver insights to key stakeholders
- Strong ability to aggregate large data sets extracted from backend databases (preferably using SSAS cubes); proficient with using pivot tables to complete statistical analysis
- Familiarity with coding languages such as SQL, Python and DAX coding
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Track record of success working in a fast-paced, fast-growing organization
- Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and drive to deliver high-quality work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; expresses ideas clearly and concisely and communicates effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
