What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Landscape Associate position at Field Operations?
Oversee landscape design projects from planning through execution including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and scope; contribute to business development by preparing proposals and participating in presentations; stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices; oversee the creation of innovative designs utilizing BIM systems to develop 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations to communicate design concepts; present design concepts, project updates, addressing concerns and revisions, post-installation support and maintenance recommendations for clients and consultants; conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance; assign tasks and manage workloads for efficient project execution; supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and feedback; evaluate and select appropriate materials and plant species, integrating sustainable practices; monitor project progress, identify potential issues, implement solutions, and ensure satisfactory completion; coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to integrate designs into overall project plans; and oversee the production of design and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Position based in New York, NY; minimum of 3 days in office required with 4th and 5th strongly encouraged.
Salary offered ranges from $120,000 to $148,000 per year.
Must have a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture, or a related field, plus two years of experience in a Landscape Designer role, and two years of experience using Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
