What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President for Enrollment & Communications position at Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship?
The Vice President for Enrollment & Communications (VPEC) is the chief enrollment and marketing officer of Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship. The VPEC leads and manages the admissions departments, the communications and marketing department, and the newly formed Business & Innovation Academy that will serve secondary education. In addition, the VPEC is a member of the Institute’s Senior Leadership Team, and reports to the president.
The functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating and executing all the Institute’s resources to meet enrollment objectives; leads internal and external teams for reputation building; measures effectiveness from demand generation projects; leads the direction of a best-in-class digital presence; and more.
The leadership responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving on the Institute’s Senior Leadership team to further policy and strategy; reinforce Institute values by engaging with the entirety of the Institute community to drive positive culture; provide thought leadership that positions the Institute positively in the marketplace, build positive relationships with sponsors and donors; and more.
This role requires collaboration across locations with a diverse community of students, colleagues, and external partners. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism that contributes to the Institute culture and models ideal behaviors and attitudes for students.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates and coaches admissions and marketing functions to develop evidence-based enrollment activities. This includes the procurement, distribution, and analysis of activities that grow new student enrollment and persistence. (65%)
- Works with senior leadership team colleagues on Institutional projects that focus on mission fulfillment, reputational growth, and other Institute-centric activities. (15%)
- Coordinates and distills data sets for the purposes of demand generation, compliance, goal setting, and connecting buyer behavior to continuous improvement in activity. (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
- 7 or more years’ experience enrollment marketing, enrollment management or admissions.
- 4 or more years’ experience in a senior leadership role (e.g. AVP, VP, President).
