What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydro Excavation Operator position at Goliath Hydrovac?
Goliath Hydrovac is looking for an operator, we are looking for strong work ethic along with the ability to learn and tackle a wide variety of jobs. To be an operator you will need to have a hard work ethic and the will to learn, as well as have a minimum of a Class B CDL, with air brake and a tanker endorsement. As an operator you will be in charge of operating state of the art hydro-excavation trucks and splitting the work load with your swamper.

Key tasks as an operator:
- Able to always put safety first while operating the hydro-excavation truck
- Must be able to communicate efficiently while working with coworkers
- Ability to complete online training as necessary for certain projects
- Ability to work long shifts when needed for projects
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs multiple times a day
- Will be required to pass random drug tests
- Clean driving record is preferred
- Will be required to climb, kneel, and crawl through tight spaces as well as be comfortable in confined spaces
- Will be required to work in all weather conditions for periods on time
- Will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Goliath Hydrovac works with contractors and companies in many different industries including gas, power, sewer, agricultural, manufacturing, municipalities, and many more.
