Electrical Project Manager / Estimator Responsibilities
- Manage commercial electrical projects from preconstruction and estimating through project completion.
- Prepare estimates, budgets, change order pricing, and supporting project documentation.
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and field operations.
- Provide technical support and interpretation of electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor project costs, labor productivity, material usage, and overall contractual performance.
- Work closely with field leadership, customers, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Minimum 4 years of project management and/or estimating experience within commercial electrical construction.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction, service work, NEC requirements, estimating, scheduling, and project cost controls.
- Experience managing and supporting electrical field personnel and subcontractors.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electrical estimating/project management software; Accubid experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities.
