About GolfTours.com
GolfTours.com is a fast-growing specialist golf travel company headquartered in London. We build bespoke golf travel experiences for clients across the UK, US, UAE and beyond — from weekend breaks to major bucket-list tours. We're experiencing significant growth in US enquiry volume and are building a strategically placed US sales team to ensure every client gets a fast, expert response regardless of timezone.
The role
We're looking for an experienced golf travel or golf industry professional to join our US team, based in Florida (Orlando, Tampa, Naples or similar). This is a dual-role position: you'll handle inbound sales enquiries from US clients while also nurturing supplier relationships with Southeast US resorts and courses — bringing genuine, on-the-ground product knowledge to every conversation.
You'll work closely with our London HQ team and be a key part of our US expansion, helping us deliver the same quality of service across all American timezones.
Sales responsibilities
- Handle inbound golf travel enquiries from US clients via phone, email, and live chat
- Build bespoke golf travel itineraries across domestic and international destinations
- Qualify and convert leads, managing the full sales process from first contact to booking confirmation
- Maintain and grow a personal client book, with a focus on repeat bookings and referrals
- Hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets agreed with the Head of Sales
- Collaborate with the London team on pricing, availability, and product development
- Keep CRM records up to date and report on pipeline activity weekly
Resort & supplier relations
- Serve as the primary GolfTours.com contact for resort and golf course partners across Southeast US
- Attend FAM (familiarisation) trips, hosted rounds, and resort open days to develop first-hand product knowledge
- Build and maintain relationships with Director of Golf, resort sales, and golf operations teams
- Feed product knowledge, rates, and availability back to the London team for itinerary building
- Represent GolfTours.com at regional golf trade events and industry functions
- Support marketing by providing content, testimonials, and regional updates
What we're looking for
- Golf travel sales experience or general travel sales experience
- Existing network of contacts within the local golf and hospitality industry
- Strong personal knowledge of Southeast US golf — courses, seasons, pricing, and what makes a great trip
- Proven ability to hit sales targets in a consultative, high-value sales environment
- Excellent communication skills — you'll be the face of GolfTours.com in your region
- Self-starter comfortable working remotely as part of a distributed international team
- CRM experience (HubSpot or similar) and proficiency with standard office tools
- Genuine passion for golf — you play the game and you love talking about it
Compensation
Base salary commensurate with experience, plus an uncapped performance commission structure. Full details discussed at offer stage. Benefits include access to FAM trips, hosted rounds, and discounted personal golf travel.
