What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Goldwater Care?
- Part-Time: 4pm-8pm and every other weekend*
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with planned menus with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
- Prepare and serve residents nutritional bedtime snacks as well as substitute foods for residents who refuse foods served.
- Ensure food, etc., is prepared in accordance with sanitary regulations.
- Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures assuring that utensils, etc., are readily available for next meal.
- Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed. Deliver food carts/trays to designated areas.
- Serve food and drinks in the dining room as instructed.
- Sweeping & mopping floors in the kitchen/dish room as instructed by supervisor.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- One (1) year dietary experience in a healthcare facility or other institution is preferred but not required.
