Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Crew Lead/Driver responsible for trash pickup and landscape maintenance! This position is for an entry level Highway Clean Up/Landscape Crew Lead who has a strong work ethic and a positive, team centered attitude. This energetic role combines the excitement of route driving with hands-on landscape work, ensuring our community stays clean and beautiful. As a key team member, you'll lead by example, operate commercial vehicles, and coordinate daily tasks to deliver exceptional service. A company vehicle will be provided while you're on the job but you will need to consider your transportation to and from work before applying. Responsibilities

• Lead a crew in trash collection and landscape maintenance activities, ensuring safety and efficiency on every job
• Operate trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission, adhering to all driving safety standards
• Pull a an manuever equipment trailers
• Load and unload materials using manual lifting techniques to handle debris, landscaping supplies, and equipment
• Drive along designated routes, managing time effectively to meet daily schedules
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving tasks related to trash bins, landscaping materials, and equipment
• Ensure proper loading and securing of cargo for safe transportation
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting politely with clients during pickups or landscape services
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure operational safety
• Support team members in route planning and problem-solving during daily operations

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with experience driving trucks or similar commercial vehicles; CDL is a plus but not required
• Experience in pulling trailers
• Proven delivery driver experience or route driving background preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Experience with warehouse operations, heavy lifting, moving supplies or equipment preferred
• Comfortable performing manual labor including lifting heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day
• Knowledge of automatic transmission vehicles is beneficial
• Prior experience as a courier or in trash pickup/landscape roles highly desirable
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work efficiently in outdoor environments
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Must be able to read maps.
• Must have reliable transportation to the meeting site.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
