Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using PySpark and Databricks
Process and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured retail data
Build and optimize data models to support reporting and analytics
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate retail requirements into technical solutions
Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and cost optimization
Implement data security, governance, and best practices
Work closely with Data Analysts, BI teams, and cloud architects
Support production issues and provide ongoing enhancements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments
Hands-on expertise in Databricks and PySpark
Solid experience with Power BI (DAX, data modeling, performance tuning)
Strong SQL skills
Experience working with retail datasets (sales, POS, inventory, merchandising, customer data)
Experience with data warehousing concepts and data lake architectures
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
