Position Summary

Production Supervisor is an individual who plans, coordinates, organizes, and controls production in his department. Production supervisor’s main responsibilities are to ensure the efficient production of goods and services, with emphasis on safety, quality, and cost. In addition, it is the supervisor’s responsibility to produce goods on time and at right cost to meet the demands of the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling production activities.
• Ensuring the effective management of production lines.
• Ensuring on time production of quality products.
• Ensuring maintenance of cost effective and high-standard production.
• Monitoring production practices and setting the schedules as required.
• Working out material, equipment, and human resources as needed.
• Make decisions regarding the operating unit’s layout, size and range of service or product to deliver and design and arrangement of work processes.
• Supervising product standards and enforcing quality-control programs.
• Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
• Working with managers effectively to execute the policies and goals of the organization.
• Ensuring high safety standards.
• Liaising with different departments such, managers and so on to prevent any probable delay.
• Supervising and inspiring employees.
• Reviewing work performance.
• Organizing relevant training sessions
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of High Scholl Degree required. Associates degree helpful.
• Minimum of 3 plus years production supervisor experience.
• Process Improvement/Lean Manufacturing very helpful.
• Intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word etc.)
• Organization and efficiency
• Strong Leadership and interpersonal Skills.
• Problem solving, Lean Manufacturing
• Can relate and Communication to individuals at all levels in the organization.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English

Schedule
