Job Description & Responsibilities
As the Social Media & Community Connection Director, you will:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and community awareness across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
- Create, schedule, and manage original, highquality content (text, graphics, photos, video, reels, stories, etc.).
- Leverage AI tools for content creation, audience insights, and performance reporting.
- Monitor social media trends and emerging technologies to ensure Golden Years ADHC stays current and competitive.
- Engage online audiences, respond to inquiries, and help build a meaningful digital community.
- Attend marketing events, capture content, and represent Golden Years ADHC in a professional, engaging way.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop campaigns and outreach that align with organizational goals.
- Visit the office 24 times per month to coordinate, create content, and connect with our onsite team.
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, offering insights and recommendations for growth.
- Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts for a brand, nonprofit, or business.
- Strong ability to create shortform and longform content for various platforms.
- Skilled in photography, videography, and editing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.).
- Familiarity with AIdriven marketing, content tools, and analytics.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Knowledge of digital advertising (social ads, boosted posts, targeting strategies).
- Comfortable attending inperson events, networking with community members, and capturing realtime content.
- Selfstarter with strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- PartTime (flexible schedule, approx. 1520 hours per week)
- Compensation: $16.00 $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Performance Reviews: Formal review at 6 months of tenure, then annually on or before the employee’s anniversary date
- Growth Opportunity: Potential to convert into fulltime based on performance and organizational needs.
