Job Overview
Golden Years Retreat is a beautiful six-bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) located in Santa Rosa. We are a family-owned care home dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care in a warm, home-like environment.
We are seeking caring, dependable, and experienced caregivers who are passionate about serving seniors with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Assist with transfers and mobility
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Administer medications (if medication trained)
- Observe and document changes in residents' condition
- Provide companionship and meaningful activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home
- Communicate effectively with families and the Administrator
- Follow RCFE regulations and infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- RCFE or senior care experience preferred
- Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background clearance
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
