Schedule: Mon/Wed/Friday 8am-12pm
About the Client:
We are seeking a caregiver of any sex/nationality to assist an immobile client, who enjoys good conversation and benefits from daily structure and routine. There are other family members in the home at all times during services. This is a non-smoking home with 2 friendly dogs.
Responsibilities:
- Drive is required to appointments, errands, and grocery shopping.
- Engage the client in conversation and activities—enjoys talkative, positive, and respectful company.
- Keep track of appointments and assist with scheduling reminders.
- Provide showering assistance.
- Help encourage the client to get up daily to maintain mobility and routine.
- Light housekeeping as needed (occasional sweeping, mopping, dusting).
Ideal Caregiver Qualities:
- Talkative, engaging, and patient—able to motivate and gently persuade when needed.
- Organized and reliable with good time management skills.
- Stays calm under pressure and handles household dynamics tactfully.
- Enjoys working in a multi-person, pet-friendly home.
