Location: Lexington Ky
Pay: $17-20 per hour
Schedule: Every Sunday is guaranteed 8am. Fill in for client on Mon, Tues, Fri 9a-3p, on call PRN Wed/Thurs
At Golden Years, compassion is at the heart of everything we do. We’re currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide one-on-one care and meaningful companionship to a client. This role is ideal for someone who leads with empathy, understands the importance of dignity and patience in caregiving, and enjoys creating joy in daily routines.
What You’ll Do
- Provide full assistance with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support mobility by assisting with walking
- Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding as needed, and ensure dietary safety.
- Manage light housekeeping, laundry, and organization to maintain a clean and peaceful environment.
- Provide reminders and supervision for medication (preorganized weekly).
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments, ensuring comfort and safety while traveling.

- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Reliable transportation for local errands and appointments.
