Temporary Position
Job Description:
This position works both lunch and supper meal periods. Begins shift in the Café then moves to cooking and preparing room service meals for patients and special functions/catering at a Destination '10' level. Must function as part of a team that ensures delivery of food to patients within 45 minutes of the order being placed.
Responsibilities:
Job duties include preparation of food items, maintenance of adequate PAR levels; cooking room service items for chef select menu and cook-to-order for room service. Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary working environment. Attention to detail is essential. Multitasking is required. This position ensures that all hot meals are correct as ordered and rotates to add the cold sides as necessary. Performs prep work, ensuring all items are available for each meal service. May deliver room service meals to our patients, assist in our retail cafe providing short-order cooking and service to our staff, as well as assist with catering services.
Education/Credentials:
Henry County food handler card required.
Work weekdays and every other weekend, 10:45am-7:00pm, as scheduled. Occasionally other shifts.
