What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Med/Surg & ICU position at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare?
Accountable for the delivery of high quality nursing care and for the administrative management of the nursing unit on a 24-hour basis in conjunction with the nurse director and/or in his/her absence. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare, HIPAA regulations, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and the Code of Professional and Business Ethics. Accountable for, but not limited to, performance improvement activities, infection control guidelines and safety measures.
Education/Licensure:
MO RN in good standing
BLS within 30 days of hire
