Job Summary
Golden Valley Charter Schools is seeking passionate, creative, and student-centered educators to join our team as Single Subject Specialty Teachers. We welcome applicants who hold a valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in a variety of content areas, including but not limited to Visual Arts, Music, Theater, Agriculture, World Languages/Multicultural Studies, Physical Education, Home Economics, and other specialty disciplines. At Golden Valley Charter Schools, specialty subjects are an essential part of our educational program—not simply electives. Our Specialty Teachers are valued members of the instructional team who help cultivate creativity, confidence, movement, cultural appreciation, and artistic expression through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that enrich every student's educational journey. Our Specialty Teachers play a vital role in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction that supports the intellectual, artistic, physical, social, and emotional growth of students within our Waldorf-inspired public charter school. Working collaboratively with classroom teachers, administrators, and families, Specialty Teachers create meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, foster creativity, encourage critical thinking, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning. Whether through music, movement, visual arts, language, theater, agriculture, or other specialty disciplines, our educators help students discover their unique talents while contributing to a vibrant, collaborative school community where the whole child is nurtured and every subject is valued. This recruitment is intended to establish an applicant pool for current and anticipated Single Subject Specialty Teacher openings. Qualified candidates may be considered for opportunities at either of our TK–8 campuses as staffing needs arise.
