Golden Valley Charter School, a Waldorf-inspired public charter school located in Orangevale, California, is seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant - Special Education to support students receiving special education services. This role works closely with teachers and special education staff to provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them access the curriculum and succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The Instructional Assistant - SPED assists students with individualized learning goals, reinforces classroom instruction, and helps maintain a positive and supportive learning environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, compassionate, and committed to helping students with diverse learning needs thrive in the classroom.
Requirements / Qualifications
Direct experience in instruction of Reading and Math to children at an elementary and/or middle school level. Multi Subject Credential or Special Education Credential, and Knowledge of Waldorf education preferred, but not required. Applicants are not required to hold CA Credential or Waldorf certificate to apply but it is preferred.
