Job Summary
As a Plumbing Helper, you will work alongside experienced plumbers to assist with the installation of plumbing systems in new construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing trade and advance their careers.
Duties
- Assist plumbers with the installation of pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial buildings.
- Help with the layout and assembly of plumbing systems according to blueprints and building codes.
- Carry and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs under the guidance of a licensed plumber.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience or training in plumbing or construction is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions (e.g., confined spaces, heights).
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction.
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems and tools is advantageous.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
