Key Responsibilities
- Perform onsite installation and configuration of AV systems including displays, projectors, video conferencing systems, AV racks, and structured cabling
- Conduct cable drops, terminations, and wiring for low-voltage systems
- Install and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with system design, layout, and planning of AV solutions
- Load, configure, and update control system software as needed
- Maintain a professional presence onsite while representing the GST brand
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in low-voltage installation, structured cabling, or AV systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work comfortably in physically active environments
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders/lifts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have reliable transportation to report to assigned job site and/or travel between locations as required
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Employees are expected to provide standard hand tools customarily used in the trade.
