Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions and pharmacy protocols

- Support patient service activities, including answering questions related to medications and procedures
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, including medication storage and handling procedures
- Perform medication reconciliation and ensure proper labeling and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes
- Adhere to medical terminology standards and pharmacy regulations during all tasks
Experience
- Prior pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Critical care experience is highly desirable for supporting complex medication needs
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and aseptic technique required
- Proven ability to handle intake processes efficiently while maintaining accuracy in documentation
- Certification as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not mandatory depending on state requirements
