Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Master Plumber role based in West Chester, PA. The Master Plumber will perform diagnostics, installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial plumbing systems, including fixtures, piping, water heaters, and drainage systems. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, reading and interpreting blueprints and plans, ensuring work complies with local plumbing codes, and maintaining accurate job documentation. The role involves interacting directly with customers, explaining findings and options clearly, providing honest estimates, and delivering high-quality workmanship with minimal disruption. The Master Plumber will also mentor junior plumbers or apprentices, maintain tools and vehicles in good working order, and follow all safety and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong plumbing expertise, including installation, diagnostics, code compliance, and system design.
- Hands-on experience with pipes and related components, including cutting, fitting, soldering, and joining various piping materials.
- Proven ability in maintenance & repair of plumbing systems, with a focus on preventative maintenance and efficient problem resolution.
- Commitment to excellent customer service, including clear communication, professionalism on-site, and respectful interaction in occupied homes and businesses.
- Current Master Plumber license in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain, as applicable), with a clean and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work on-site in West Chester, PA, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed for emergency calls.
- Physical ability to perform plumbing work, including lifting, bending, working in confined spaces, and using hand and power tools safely.
- Experience supervising or mentoring apprentices or junior plumbers is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
