Position Overview:
Responsible for providing support and guidance to Working Partners on a janitorial contract by assisting Working Partners as they interact with peers and tenants and complete janitorial tasks as expected in the contract. Provides direction, support and training to Working Partners through entire shift. Responsible for Working Partner tasks only when Working Partners are not available.
Level of Authority/Supervision:
This position works alongside the site supervisor and other job coaches. Initiative and independent performance is expected. This position does not supervise any other position but oversees and coaches Working Partners.
Essential Job Functions:
1) Instructs, coaches, monitors and redirects Working Partners in the performance of basic job duties, worksite behaviors and general life skills.
2) Intervenes in situations that may results in negative Working Partner behaviors.
3) Assists Working Partners with basic life functions such as eating, drinking, toileting, moving from one area to another, etc., as needed.
4) Ensures completion of all Working Partner tasks according to safety, quality and performance standards.
5) Assigns individual job tasks to Working Partners according to ability.
6) Provides Working Partners with job instruction and provides additional support as needed throughout the shift.
7) Responsible for quality control throughout the process of Working Partner tasks.
8) Identifies potential problems with contract or with Working Partners and seeks to resolve prior to issues arising.
9) May be responsible for providing transportation for Working Partners as needed.
10) Assists site supervisor with keeping accurate daily records for Working Partners, including attendance, data calendars and behavior logs.
11) Ensures effective completion of tasks included in scope of work for your janitorial contract
12) Attends team meetings for Working Partners assigned to your area, as needed.
13) Identifies potential problems and seeks to resolve prior to issues arising.
14) Remains aware of emergency procedures and participates in emergency drills as requested.
15) Follows all safety precautions in the proper use, handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
16) Maintains good customer relationships

18) Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
19) Uses time and resources efficiently and effectively
20) Responsible for regular, on-time attendance.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Ability to read, write, follow written instructions.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong desire to help others a must.
Additional Competencies, Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to effectively speak with and support customers, co-workers, Working Partners and their teams.
Must complete all training requirements within the specified time frames.
Physical Requirements:
This is an active position that requires movement and standing. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, squat, reach, grasp, as well as lift and carry up to 25 unassisted or 50 lbs. plus with assistance. Must be able to climb ladders/step stools. Visual acuity needed for preparing/reading price tags/merchandise/chemical labels, etc.
Work Environment:
Well-lighted, climate-controlled work area with occasional supervision of Working Partners as they complete outdoor tasks
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21.0 per week
