Summary: Assists in the day-to-day management and direct supervision of all Vault activities in Northern Nevada, ensuring consistent execution, accuracy, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Provides leadership and support to team members, resolves escalated issues and operational challenges, and drives efficiency and accountability across the department.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assists in providing direct oversight of Vault operations in Northern Nevada, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the Vault, maintaining secure handling, movement, and reconciliation of cash.
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate Vault team members to ensure effective performance and adequate operational coverage.
- Establish and maintain standardized procedures within the Vault department, ensuring adherence to company policies, internal controls, and NGCB regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports detailing overages, shortages, cash volumes, and check transactions.
- Ensure all cash-handling and counting equipment is properly maintained, functioning efficiently, and used in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, company policies, internal controls, Title 31 requirements, and federal regulations.
- Foster a culture of accountability and teamwork among Vault staff while supporting both internal departments and external customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficiency and integrity of Vault operations.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a cage or vault environment
- 2 years’ leadership experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
