Our bus system provides transportation throughout our community and to nearby shopping centers, restaurants, and medical facilities on scheduled routes and timetables.

As a Bus Driver, you will:
- Drive throughout the Leisure World property and surrounding communities on a set time schedule.
- Record daily count of passengers.
- Verify residency of passengers.
- Assist passengers with packages, walkers and wheelchairs.
- Assist passengers by providing bus route information.
- Operate the bus in a safe manner and in compliance with GRF and State traffic regulations.
- Report emergencies or accidents to Dispatcher in the Security Department immediately.
- Check bus for fuel, water, and any apparent defect.
Other things you need to know or do:
- Use a 2-way radio and hand counter.
- Frequently reach, climb, balance and stoop.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Pass Bus Driver Physical Examination prior to start of employment and annually thereafter.
- Respond to emergencies efficiently and to make immediate decisions.
