It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor to supervise all general and utility cleaners. Makes sure all public and back of house areas are kept clean and safe. Chemical labeling and usage is very important. Making sure all machines are in proper working order and all equipment is not visible to guests.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all line workers, check the stations and make sure all the tasks are getting completed in a timely manner and according to Golden Nugget standards as established by the department.
- Train general and utility cleaners in proper chemical usage, safety and use of all EVS equipment.
- Give disciplinary notice, evaluate performance levels. Maintain department rules and regulations and insure prompt and fair enforcement.
- Evaluate performance and make recommendations.
- Provides subordinates with guidance and information to ensure productivity is efficient and effective.
- Maintain departmental rules and procedures as approved by Director.
- Advises Engineering Department on the maintenance of areas in need of repair or replacement.
- Initiates programs and refinement of existing programs or procedures to effect a higher level of standard.
- Stays abreast of attendance of all employees assigned to them.
- Enforces key control procedures.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of supervising and interacting with people.
- Knowledge of machines/equipment used for cleaning.
- Knowledge of chemicals, understanding priorities, good organizational skills.
- Taking all calls and being responsible for entire crews.
- Minimum age requirement is 21.
