Overview

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail stores on the Golden Nugget properties. In addition to supervisor responsibilities, they also assist customers by helping them select products. Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner. Responds to customers' questions.

Responsibilities

• Assists Retail Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of all retail shops and vending.
• Duties include hiring, training, and scheduling of retail and vending staff.
• Responsible for daily ordering for gift shops and vending.
• Directly supervises all Retail Sales Representatives and Retail Stock Persons
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Minimum three (3) years retail experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to handle ordering and inventory.
• Good verbal and written communications skills required.
• Basic math skills for handling payments
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
