Sales Associate – Winooski (Year-Round, Holiday Availability Required)

Golden Hour Gift Co. is a feel-good gift shop to brighten your day — full of art, plants, jewelry, cards, kiddo items, and more.

We’re looking for an experienced retail professional who can jump in, connect with customers, and keep things running smoothly. This is not a seasonal role — you must be available Black Friday through Christmas Eve and plan to be in Vermont year-round. Weekend availability is required. Shifts here are typically full days (about 10:30 AM–6:30 PM).

What you’ll do:

• Greet customers warmly and help them find the perfect gift
• Keep displays stocked, organized, and visually appealing
• Operate the register and handle transactions with accuracy
• Unpack, price, and organize incoming shipments
• Maintain a clean, inviting, and well-merchandised store
• Work as part of a small, supportive team to meet store goals

You’re a good fit if you:

• Have previous retail experience (gift, boutique, or specialty store experience is a plus)
• Are friendly, dependable, and self-motivated
• Enjoy staying busy and switching between tasks throughout the day
• Take pride in delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Must be able to be on feet for duration of shift, climb up and down a ladder, lift boxes of up to 50 lbs.

Job Types: For Part-time We currently are looking to fill Sunday & Monday from open to close in our Winooski store but we could provide up to full time hours if you could fill in hours at our Burlington store or Warehouse.
