Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Accurately take and fill food and drink orders using POS systems, and handle payment transactions
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and sequence of service; ensure proper identification is checked when serving alcohol
- Assist fellow servers and support staff to ensure a consistent and efficient guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of the tavern, including restocking, wiping counters, and organizing service areas
- Ensure dining area is clean and properly set with condiments and utensils at all times
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with company policy and health department regulations
- Display friendly and professional hospitality, maintaining a positive attitude with guests and team members
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1 year of previous experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
