Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist with training and serve as a resource to team members to support performance, engagement, and adherence to company standards.
- Support daily operations by monitoring work areas, guest interactions, and service flow for quality, efficiency, and safety
- Serve as a shift lead and escalation point for resolving basic team member or guest concerns, referring complex issues to management as needed
- Oversee POS system operations, including transaction accuracy, supply levels, and end-of-shift balancing
- Coordinate FOH inventory including to-go items, bottled sodas, and cutlery, and assist with warehouse ordering
- Prepare and serve menu items according to recipes and specifications; ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Conduct new hire training, including cashier procedures, comp and cash handling, and recipe standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and dining room areas
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1 year of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or cashiering environment required
- Previous cash handling and guest service experience required.
- Prior experience with POS systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to guide and motivate peers in a high-volume or guest-facing environment
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to deliver coaching, relay expectations, and assist in conflict resolution
- Reliable and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and support shift coordination
- Flexible to adapt to changing business needs, schedules, and guest volumes
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
